Day 1 : Istanbul / Ankara / Cappadocia

Transfer to Istanbul airport and fly to Ankara. The tour starts in the morning with the tour of Ankara. The first site is Museum of Anatolian Civilizations which is located in a restored bazaar. The museum has the most unique and priceless collection dating back to the prehistoric era. The Mausoleum of Ataturk is the next stop. This magnificent structure serves as a tribute to the founder of modern Turkey. Lunch will be taken in Ankara and the drive for Cappadocia will start after lunch. Dinner and overnight is at the hotel in Cappadocia.

Day 2 : C a p p a d o c i a

Breakfast will be served at the hotel and the full day tour of Cappadocia begins with the natural citadel of Uchisar which will enable you get a panaromic view of the region and continue with the underground city of Kaymakli or Derinkuyu which were carved as refugees from persecutors during the early christian era. Lunch will be served enroute at a typical regional restaurant. After lunch, tour continues with the visit to the Goreme valley which is the highlight of the day. This valley houses the Goreme Open Air Museum with its churches hewn out of rock and the colorful frescoes which decorate them. The last sites will be Pasabag valley and Avanos. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel in Cappadocia.

Day 3 : Cappadocia / Konya / Pamukkale

Departure will be early in the morning for Konya. Enroute there will be a stop to visit the 13th century Caravanserai of Sultanhan which is authentically kept. The next stop will be in Konya which has the capital of the Selcuk Turks in the 13th century. This city which hosts the Mevlana Museum is also know for its theological school of whirling dervishes. Lunch will be served enroute. Arrival in Pamukkale will be late in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel in Pamukkale.

Day 4 : Pamukkale / Kusadasi

After breakfast, tour starts with a visit to the ancient city of Hierapolis. The ruins of the biggest necropolis graveyard of the ancient world, Roman Baths, Basilica and Calcium Cliffs. After lunch visit the greco-roman settlement which is remarkably well preserved. The ancient city is dedicated to the godess of love, Aphrodite. Drive to Kusadasi, dinner and overnight at the hotel in Kusadasi.

Day 5 : Kusadasi / Ephesus / Kusadasi

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Meryemana and visit the House of Virgin Mary. Continue to Ephesus, the roman capital of Asia minor. Visit the ruins of Odeon, Hercules Gate, the temple of Hadrian, the magnificient library, Agora and fantastic Greco-Roman theatre. After lunch, visit the Basilica of St. John. PM Free. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Kusadasi.

Day 6 : Kusadasi / Pergamum / Troy / Canakkale

After breakfast at the hotel the day will begin with the drive to Pergamum. The first visit of the day will be to Asklepion. Lunch will be taken enroute and after lunch you will continue on to Troy. This is the legendary city of Homeros which has nine principal levels of occupation covering a period of 3000 years. It is rich in history to say the least. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel in Canakkale, known as the city in Dardanelles.

Day 7 : Canakkale / Istanbul

After breakfast, the drive to Istanbul will begin. Lunch will be served enroute. After arrival in Istanbul, you will be transferred to the airport or hotel. End of our services.
