Open since 1923, modest sized 2-story seafood restaurant. Very popular and has been witten up in the international press. Fish soup is excellent. Open Monday – Friday from 11:30 am until they run out of fish! So, make sure to go early – reservation not accepted. No alcohol. Cash only.

Their new location (Kardesim Sokak No 45 Grifin Han Karakoy Tel: +90 212 243 40 80) has a lovely view of the Golden Horn and is elegantly decorated.

They serve alcohol and accept Mastercard & Visa. Open daily from noon to 3:00 pm for lunch and from 6:00 pm to 10:30 pm for dinner.
